1. Purpose

This Policy describes how people in the European Union may report alleged illegal content hosted through Hostyt under the Digital Services Act.

2. Point of contact

DSA notices may be sent to abuse@host.yt. Legal or authority communications may also be sent to legal@host.yt.

3. Notice requirements

To help us process a notice, include:

• A sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is illegal.
• The exact electronic location, such as URL, domain, IP address, screenshot, or other identifier.
• Your name and email address, unless the notice concerns certain offences where anonymity may be protected by law.
• A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the information in the notice is accurate and complete.

4. Review

We review notices in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary, and objective manner. We may use technical tools to triage or detect risks, but important enforcement decisions may receive human review where appropriate.

5. Actions we may take

Depending on the notice and evidence, we may reject the notice, request more information, notify the customer, remove or disable content, suspend service, block traffic, preserve evidence, or report serious threats to competent authorities.

6. Statement of reasons

Where required by law, we will provide affected recipients with a clear statement of reasons for restrictions imposed due to illegal content or policy violations, unless legally restricted or unsafe.

7. Appeals

If you disagree with a moderation decision affecting your hosted content or service, contact legal@host.yt with the decision reference, affected service, explanation, and supporting evidence.

8. Misuse

We may suspend processing of manifestly unfounded notices or complaints submitted repeatedly or abusively.

9. Authorities and trusted flaggers

Orders or notices from competent authorities and trusted flaggers will be handled according to applicable law and verification requirements.

Updates

We may update this document from time to time. The version published on host.yt is the current version. If a change materially affects active paid services, we may notify affected customers by email, account notice, ticket, or another reasonable channel.
