Applies to: host.yt, the customer panel, billing portal, support channels, and services provided by Marko Omelyash VARSOFIA.
Plain-language summary
This summary is for convenience only. The full provisions below form the legally relevant text.
1. Scope
This Agreement applies to transfers of domain names to or from Hostyt and our registrar, registry, or domain service partners.
2. Transfer requirements
You must be the registrant or have authority from the registrant. You must provide accurate domain data, unlock the domain where required, obtain the EPP/AuthInfo code, approve confirmation messages, and ensure the administrative email or approval method is accessible.
3. Reasons a transfer may fail
- The domain was registered or transferred too recently.
- The domain is locked, expired, suspended, in dispute, or in redemption.
- The EPP/AuthInfo code is wrong or expired.
- The registrant or administrative contact does not approve the transfer.
- The losing registrar or registry rejects the request.
- The domain is subject to sanctions, fraud, abuse, court, or regulatory restrictions.
4. Recently renewed domains
Some transfers after a recent renewal may not preserve the renewal year, depending on registry and registrar rules. You are responsible for checking current registrar terms before initiating a transfer.
5. DNS and downtime risk
A transfer may affect DNS, nameservers, DNSSEC, mail, website availability, privacy services, or related add-ons. You are responsible for checking DNS settings before and after transfer.
6. Fees and refunds
Transfer fees are refundable only where the Refund and Cancellation Policy or mandatory law provides a refund. Registry, registrar, or payment fees may be non-refundable after submission.
7. Outbound transfers
We may provide transfer codes and unlock domains where permitted. We may refuse or delay outbound transfers where the domain is locked by registry rules, recent transfer rules, unpaid fees, court order, dispute, security risk, suspected hijacking, sanctions issue, or inaccurate registrant data.
Updates
We may update this document from time to time. The version published on host.yt is the current version. If a change materially affects active paid services, we may notify affected customers by email, account notice, ticket, or another reasonable channel.
