Plain-language summary
This summary is for convenience only. The full provisions below form the legally relevant text.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to disputes involving domain names registered, transferred, renewed, or managed through Hostyt.
2. Applicable dispute procedures
Depending on the domain, disputes may be handled under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, Uniform Rapid Suspension, ccTLD-specific procedures, registry dispute policies, court proceedings, arbitration, or other authority processes.
3. Our role
We are not a court and do not decide who owns a trademark, business name, or domain string. We may, however, lock, preserve, transfer, suspend, or otherwise modify domain status to comply with a valid dispute notice, registry instruction, registrar requirement, court order, or authority request.
4. Customer duties
You must ensure that domain registration and use do not infringe third-party rights. You must respond to dispute notices and cooperate with applicable proceedings.
5. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Hostyt, registries, registrars, and relevant service providers against claims and costs arising from your domain registration, domain use, DNS use, resale, or customer registrations.
6. Disputed accounts
If account or domain control is disputed, we may restrict changes until we receive clear evidence, a written agreement between parties, or an instruction from a competent authority.
Updates
We may update this document from time to time. The version published on host.yt is the current version. If a change materially affects active paid services, we may notify affected customers by email, account notice, ticket, or another reasonable channel.
